Bloomfield Township, MI (WFN) -- It's hard to swallow but a woman in Michigan who lost her $3000 ring found it in the stomach of a man hired to clean her carpet. The guy tried to steal the ring but putting it in his mouth and swallowed it by accident. CLEVELAND -- When you set out to rob a bank, make sure the getaway car isn't going to break down. That's the lesson two crooks in Cleveland learned earlier this week. The "Cleveland Plain Dealer" reports police nabbed the two robbers after their car stalled and they failed in an attempt to steal another auto parked in the bank's lot. GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Some hard-partying women at a bachelorette party in Gainesville, Fla., confused a real cop with a stripper when he showed up and busted the guest of honor for probation violation. Guests reportedly asked the officer, "When are you going to strip?" after he cuffed the 24-year-old bride-to-be. The "Gainesville Sun" reports the woman didn't realized she was being arrested by the 6-foot-tall, dark-haired officer until he locked her in the back of a police car. TOKYO -- A holy woman from India has a cure for Japan's slumping economy. She proposes everybody should be hugging. Mata Amritanandamayi Devi is touring Japan, where embracing isn't customary, but media reports claim that people have been lining up wherever she goes to hug her.
