Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Interviewing for a job at Microsoft can be rough enough without having to answer riddles, but a writer has written a book to help folks prepare for the inevitable. Author William Poundstone wrote his book "How Would You Move Mount Fuji?" (Little, Brown) in response to the logic puzzles Microsoft demands its job applicants answer on the spot. Brain teasers like "How would you weigh a jet plane without using a scale?" and "Which way should the key turn in a car door to unlock it?" are commonplace at the software company. For the record, Poundstone says your best bet to weigh a jet plane is with water displacement and most locks turn clock-wise because the majority of the world is right handed. But he claims interviewees score extra points for creative and elusive answers. He says if you can outbest the interviewer you'd fit in well at Microsoft and their "one upmanship" attitude.
