Fleetwood Mac: Not Worried About Dixie Chicks

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Although many folks are boycotting the Dixie Chicks for their criticism of President Bush, Mick Fleetwood isn't one of them.

The Fleetwood Mac drummer says he's a big fan of the Chicks, who he says are "great friends of the band" as evidenced by their recent hit version of the Mac's song, "Landslide."

Fleetwood says, luckily, people still remember band member Stevie Nicks wrote the song and doesn't expect fans to think Fleetwood Mac is covering a Dixie Chicks song on its upcoming tour.

That is, "except for maybe a couple of 13-year-olds," he adds.

Fleetwood Mac's new CD, "Say You Will," hits stores April 15 and the tour kicks off May 7 in Columbus, Ohio.
