New York, NY -- A martini a day can keep wrinkles away.

That's the smooth news from New York-based herbalist Letha Hadady, who recommends folks avoid wrinkles with something called a "wrinkle-tini."

It's a drink that combines vodka with a special blend of vermouth that has been mixed with astralagus and jube date, two herbs that have been used to smooth skin since ancient times.

Hadady says the "wrinkle-tini" tastes more like a Manhattan than a traditional martini, so you might want to replace the olive with a strawberry.

She figures at least one "wrinkle-tini" a day between meals is a better treat than a treatment like Botox.

But that's not the only liquor good for what ails you. Hadady says drinking wine mixed with reishi mushroom extract reduces cravings for junk food and makes women feel "sexually content."

Hadady is the author of a new book, "Healthy Beauty" (John Wiley & Sons).
