Paterson, NJ -- Celebrities are dying for their art at the Paterson Museum in New Jersey -- unintentionally. For some strange reason, celebrities who exhibit their art at the museum have been dying soon after, such as caricaturist Al Hirschfeld, who died recently at the age of 99. Other celebs who died while on display at the Paterson include Dee Dee Ramone, John Entwistle, William S. Burroughs, Richard Harris and Anthony Quinn. There's a good chance the legend of the Paterson curse will grow: The museum is currently featuring paintings by 94-year-old Buddy Ebsen, 85-year-old Phyllis Diller and 81-year-old Charles Bronson. Still, Paterson Museum spokesman Giacomo De Stefano refuses to consider the deaths as anything more than coincidence. In his words, "You exhibit any artist's paintings long enough and they're eventually going to die." In fact, the museum plans to further tempt the grim reaper in the near-future by exhibiting the art of 88-year-old Eli Wallach and 80-year-old Kurt Vonnegut.
