Dallas, TX (WFN) -- Following the death of singer Dave Williams, the Texas nu-metal band Drowning Pool spent months in limbo, not sure whether to pack it up or keep on trucking. Well, it looks like they've decided on the latter. The band has just announced it has begun searching for a new singer. LONDON -- Good news for Beatles fans. Express.co.uk reports that UK police have seized over 500 tapes of unheard Beatles songs which were stolen from the band during the 1970s. The songs were part of a record called "Get Back," which was started in 1969 and scrapped shortly thereafter. NEW YORK -- Spookmaster Stephen King is popping into pop-up books. The writer of terrifying tales has just signed a deal with Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing to produce a pop-up version of his 1999 book, "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon." Says King, ""The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" is a modern-day "Hansel and Gretel," a book kids have loved through the ages. And I'll try not to scare them...well, not too much." DUBLIN, Ireland -- Beanie-capped U2 guitarist The Edge is becoming a glamour-puss for a day. He's agreed to strut the catwalk wearing designer duds for a charity fashion show in Dublin January 23. Edge will be joined by models Giselle, Naomi Campbell and Helena Christensen, reports nme.com.
