Chestnut Ridge, NY -- Yoga is going to the dogs thanks to a New York-based instructor who's releasing a new video about doing yoga with your rover.

Bruce Van Horn was inspired to create the 60-minute dog and human video after his Dalmatian, Goodboy, kept whining whenever his master did yoga.

He says he calmed Goodboy by sitting the rover next to him while he stretched and twisted, and the pooch followed his lead -- doing classic poses like "downward facing dog" and "corpse pose."

Van Horn thinks doing yoga with your dog is a great way to bond and it repays the mutt for all the times it helps it's owner release stress.

The only catch is Goodboy's yoga participation has made Van Horn's Siamese cat jealous -- so now she wants to do yoga too.

His doggie video, "Yoga For Healthy Living Presents: Daily Yoga Class" comes out Tuesday (Nov. 26), and Van Horn is stretching out to make a similar video for cats later this year.
