Toronto, Ontario -- It's hard to imagine anything worse than a pick-up line like, "You've got 206 bones in your body. Want one more?"

Well, how about this: That line actually worked, according to a survey in an upcoming issue of "American Curves" magazine.

Editors asked women to reveal bad pick-up lines that worked and 198 made the cut, including, "Do you work for UPS. I could swear you were checking out my package."

Other loser lines include....

-- "You're ugly, but you intrigue me."

-- "Hi, I just wanted to give you the satisfaction of turning me down. Go ahead. Say no."

-- Finally, there's "You are so fine I would do your shadow on a gravel road."

"American Curves" publisher Robert Kennedy hopes the study doesn't prove stupid opening lines work -- just that a woman has already made up her mind about a man before he opens his mouth.
