Speed Demon Dj Defines The 'Phat' And The Furious

Brixton, England -- Some guys become musicians for the chicks -- but U.K.-based DJ Kris Bones did it for the speed.

The man behind the techno act Genaside II admits he's unabashedly "obsessed" with building and racing cars and motorcycles and -- in his words -- "makes music to fund crashing the cars."

Bones has been making music as long as he's been racing and currently runs a custom car "turboing" operation which has the motto "fastest or your money back."

He tricks out VWs, Audis and Porches for some members of London's underground DJ scene and says he can make the cars capable of racing up to 200 miles-per-hour.

Racing also bleeds over into Bones' music: His latest album is called "The Return of the Redline Evangelist" because of his penchant for revving motors.

And -- like a true gearhead -- he's dedicated the record to his recently-crashed Ducati motorcycle.
