Nyack, NY -- Finding the world's most beautiful feet is a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.

The sole-ful search starts Friday (May 24), when Foot.com and Birkenstock shoes kick off the Third Annual World's Most Beautiful Feet contest.

Potential podiatry primadonnas should have nice arches but NO corns, bunions or toenail fungus.

The winner could get a toehold in the foot modeling industry, because the grand prize includes a foot photo session with a professional shutterbug.

Of course, finalists could also get the attention of foot fetishists worldwide, since pictures of the top tootsies will be posted online for a final vote this August.

Beauty isn't the only thing being rewarded in the contest: Judges will hand out a pedicure as a consolation prize to the person "most in need of a pedicure."
