Hain says he came up with the idea after his therapist couldn't help him deal with his feelings of hopelessness after he realized there was no God.

Although Hain says the site has healed him because it helps him express his atheist feelings, he admits the negative response has been so great he's had to create a separate page just to house all the hatemail.
