Los Angeles, CA -- The Screen Actors Guild is trying to insure its upcoming awards broadcast won't succumb to the problem suffered by other awards shows: Cheesy banter between presenters.

The SAG Awards will be announced March 10, and show producer Jeff Margolis plans to do celeb presenters a favor by minimizing the inane banter they have to read off teleprompters.

One of his strategies: He's pairing up presenters who have already worked together so they aren't awkwardly meeting each other for the first time on stage.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards air March 10 on TNT.
