	2002-09-27 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Pat Boone: Ready And Willing To Play An Enron Executive

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- If movie producers are looking for an actor capable of playing a corrupt executive, it would be a crime not to cast Pat Boone. The 67-year-old actor may have a white bread image but would really love to play a white collar criminal -- especially because he knows a few and has even visited them in prison. Boone says good actors never play evil characters as evil and says many white collar criminals start off as decent guys. Problem is, he says, sometimes people who suddenly get successful start to "feel entitled" to taking ethical shortcuts because they figure they're paying so much in taxes. Although no films on the Enron scandal have been officially announced, villain parts are definitely in Boone's future. He's guest-starring on "7th Heaven" on Monday (Sept. 30), playing what he says is "a really nasty character."
