Americans Don't Know Much, Except Music

Chicago, IL (WFN) -- How many Americans do you think can name a member of the Beatles? How many can name one U.S. senator?

According to a new poll by Miller Genuine Draft beer, 95 percent can name John, Paul, George or Ringo, but, shockingly, only 52 percent know the name of any senator.

Another shocking stat: 48 percent of the young males think Bruce Springsteen represents the dreams and aspirations of America better than George W. Bush.

Meanwhile, nearly half of respondents would like to sit down and have a beer with their favorite musicians: U2's Bono or Ozzy Osbourne.

Finally, Michael Jackson is the most hated musician by 25 percent, with Eminem second with 21 percent.
