Self-Proclaimed Deadbeat Laughs At Creditors

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- A self-proclaimed deadbeat who is $40,000 in the hole is laughing at his creditors -- all the way to the bank.

For three years, a man known as "Mike the Deadbeat" has been getting calls from credit agencies wanting him to pay his debts.

Instead, Mike has been giving them the business, telling account representatives things like, "I'll get you the money as soon as I can steal it" and taping their reactions for a new comedy CD, "Mike the Deadbeat."

Mike says the female creditors tend to scold him like he's their naughty son, and says he admires how the Black guys who call are "exceptionally good at making me feel bad for not paying what I owe."

Mike the Deadbeat hopes the CD sells well enough to get him back on his feet financially, but admits he may not ever pay off his debts because "once a deadbeat, always a deadbeat."
