New York, NY (WFN) -- Armpits are getting their own beauty pageant.

Next Tuesday (July 2), women representing all 50 U.S. states will parade their underarms in front of a panel of beauty editors in New York for a shot at the title of "America's Most Beautiful Underarms."

Former "Love Connection" host Chuck Woolery will emcee the event, which is -- you guessed it -- being organized by a deodorant manufacturer.

According to a spokeswoman for the Dove Deodorant contest, each entrant's armpits must be free of hair and the highest scores will go to pits with no stubble, redness or bumps.

Contestants will also be judged on their answers to these two questions: "Why do you think it's important to have beautiful underarms?" and "How do you care for your underarms to keep them beautiful?"

The Miss America of Armpits will receive $5000.
