Westchester, NY -- Summer's here and the time is right for the "Wedding Gown Workout."

Westchester, New York-based fitness trainer Brad Schoenfeld has designed an exercise program that whips women into a shape that compliments their wedding dresses.

Schoenfeld has trained only women for the past 12 years, and says about 10 percent of his clients are brides-to-be trying to tone up for their walk down the aisle.

He says the key to the Wedding Gown Workout is to concentrate on the muscles that will show in your gown -- therefore, brides who plan to wear sleeveless sheath dresses should target their arms and shoulders.

If the bride has chosen a sexy strapless ballgown, however, that ups the workout areas to her chest, back, shoulders and arms.

Finally, Schoenfeld says women who choose long-sleeved wedding gowns, like Paul McCartney's new bride Heather Mills, only need to target their chest muscles since everything else is covered up.
