Lisa Lopes To Be Honored With Cell-Phone Song

Atlanta, GA (WFN) -- TLC's Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes just died last week, but she's already being honored -- by a cell-phone company.

Denni Brueggemann, who decides which pop songs are used as ring-tones for Cingular Wireless, says she's currently in the process of choosing a TLC song to use as a ring-tone.

She says the company likes to keep its song list current and recently added radio charttoppers like Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" and Alicia Keyes "Fallin.'"

Now, it's time to pay tribute to Lopes.

However, Brueggemann says she hasn't decided which TLC song the company will use, since translating a song into a monotone beep is "a complicated process."
