San Francisco, CA (WFN) -- Why should Christians be the only ones to have kitschy religious doo-dads like Jesus key chains and velvet paintings of saints?

Jewish sisters Jennifer and Victoria Traig think it's time "members of the tribe" had their own tacky "Jew-dads," so they've written a new how-to craft guide, "Judaikitsch" (Chronicle Books).

Some of their hokier creations include: a Hanukkah headband covered with candles made of felt and a "Jewish-American Princess Tiara" decorated with miniature pink princess phones and cans of Tab.

The sisters also suggest kitschy Jews kick it up a notch at this Wednesday's Passover celebration by sporting a "Passover Purse" made from a beaded box of matzo meal or putting a tiny leopard print yarmulke on their pooch.

Sister Jennifer admits some of the crazy crafts walk a fine line between funny and offensive, but says she's gotten nothing but positive feedback from Jews so far.
