Royal Oak, MI (WFN) -- A Michigan writer is looking for pet stories for a new book -- and if he has his way, one of them will be from Michael Jackson.

Franklin Dohanyos is asking pet-owning celebs like Wacko Jacko to donate their oddball tales for a new book which will be the follow-up to his last tome, "Cats of Our Lives" (Birch Lane Press).

The author says he'd especially like to hear from Jackson because he probably has some wild stories from years of owning unusual pets like Bubbles the chimp.

There's no Jacko story in the bag yet -- but Dohanyos believes that Tippi Hedren, Loretta Swit and Betty White will submit strange pet tales.

So what's a truly weird pet story, then? Dohanyos says a good one he got recently involved a parakeet that used to try to land on soap suds and ended up falling into the kitchen sink and drowning.
