Los Angeles, CA -- "Frasier" star David Hyde Pierce takes the cake with voiceover artists.

Jess Harnell, who does more than 350 cartoon voices for shows like "Animaniacs, Butt Ugly Martians" and "The Tick," says he's getting lots of requests for voices that sound like Pierce's Niles Crane character.

That's a change from a few years ago when Dennis Leary and Dennis Miller were the most requested impersonations.

Interestingly, the voiceover industry may be the one business unaffected by Sept. 11. Harnell says he's not getting any requests for Middle Eastern voices and is only doing slightly more "newscaster" voices than normal.

Harnell's latest project is playing "Do-Wah Diddy" on "Butt-Ugly Martians," which airs Sundays on Nickelodeon.
