San Diego, CA -- A lot of people are excited about the re-release of "E.T." this Friday -- but E.T.'s fellow aliens aren't so happy about it.

According to Tracy Kennedy -- a representative from the Unarius Academy of Science, a San Diego-based group who believe they are in fact aliens -- "E.T." misrepresents how aliens really look.

She insists real aliens look just like humans but movies like "E.T." and the "Alien" series make extraterrestrials look bad, and cause the impression that they're evil, ugly and scary.

However, Kennedy IS happy about one thing -- she says Steven Spielberg's decision to digitally modify ET to make him look more "human and loving" will help the alien cause, even though the film is still not as alien-friendly as, say, "K-Pax."
