Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- The NBA may soon stand for "not buying anything" if a disgruntled Los Angeles Lakers fan has his way.

Mike Ferraro says the prices of sports concessions are outrageous and is organizing a "fan fast" to protest the high cost of beer, nachos and other goodies.

Everyone attending an NBA game this weekend is asked to refrain from buying anything -- no peanuts, Cracker Jacks, hot dogs or beer.

Although Ferraro doesn't mind paying $60 to see the best basketball players in the world, he feels ridiculous paying $10 for a beer and $9 at the arena's McDonalds concession for a so-called "value meal."

If enough fans join the fast, he figures NBA owners will be forced to rethink their prices.

However, it won't be easy. Ferraro is recommending fans avoid concession cravings by sneaking candy bars into the game.
