New York, NY (WFN) -- A majority of Americans think Barbara Walters is the news anchor who'd be best at interviewing Osama bin Laden.

But if those same people were the ones in the hot seat, they'd rather have Diane Sawyer doing the interview.

According to a new survey by "TV Guide," 49 percent of Americans think Walters should interview bin Laden, while only 35 percent prefer Sawyer.

However, 47 percent say they would rather be interviewed by Sawyer and only 40 percent want to be grilled by Walters.

-- 53 percent of ladies think Sawyer would be more fun at a bachelorette party than Walters.

-- 44 percent of men would rather date Sawyer while 35 percent want Walters.

-- And, finally, 60 percent of all those polled say they think Sawyer has the better hair stylist.
