Jericho, NY (WFN) -- Politics isn't the only topic Republicans and Democrats disagree over: They also have different opinions about Halloween candy.

According to a new survey by AMC-TV, Republicans are more likely to hand out one single piece of candy per trick-or-treater, compared to Democrats who are more likely to give out a handful.

But independent voters are the stingiest: 20 percent of them say they will lock their doors and won't give out any treats on Halloween night. Other spooky stats...

-- Wine-drinkers prefer Dracula costumes, liquor-drinkers like devil costumes and teetotalers would rather dress like Frankenstein.

-- And folks get most scared watching occult movies like "The Exorcist," while monster movies cause the fewest nightmares.
