Kinksters Whip Up Disaster Relief Party

Fort Lauderdale, FL (WFN) -- A group of Florida kinksters hope to whip up donations for disaster relief with a fetish party tonight in Fort Lauderdale.

Nearly 1000 bondage and S&M buffs will be beating a path to the Disaster Relief Benefit Fetish Party, which hopes to raise $15,000 for victims of the terrorist attacks.

Admittedly, most charity balls don't have spanking sessions or leather-masked dungeon-masters, but organizer Glen Catapano says he hopes the event will show that S&M enthusiasts "still care."

Catapano says the unusual pageant is "ironically patriotic," because it proves the U.S. is a country where wearing a leather jockstrap is "considered wacky, not criminal."
