Toddler Microwaves Mom's Money

Sittingbourne, England (WFN) -- An English pub manager watched her receipts go up in smoke after her toddler microwaved an evening of earnings into ashes.

Madeline Hill says she was counting the cash in her kitchen when she heard a knock on the door downstairs. She stashed the money in the microwave for safekeeping and then went downstairs.

That's when her 20-month-old son Jordan stepped in, turned the microwave on full blast and fried almost $1500 into a crisp.

Madeline says she's learned an important lesson: never put your loot in the microwave because "It can get really expensive."
