Sammy Hagar's Dream: Teaming Up With David Lee Roth

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (WFN) -- Sammy Hagar was kicked out of Van Halen back in 1995, but he still dreams of performing with fellow former frontman David Lee Roth.

Hagar tells the upcoming "Razor" magazine that his musical dream is to tour with Roth as the "Sam And Dave Show."

He says Roth could play a set before Alex and Eddie Van Halen come on stage and do their "silly ass solos." Then Sammy would finish off the show with some "Van Hagar" tunes and maybe some duets with Roth.

However, don't expect the rock reunion to happen anytime soon. Hagar says for it to happen, the Van Halen brothers would first have to jam with him for a week to see if the magic is still there.
