Camel Gets Its Just Desserts From Culinary Expert

Berkeley, CA (WFN) -- Revenge is a dish best served cold -- especially when the dish is camel.

That's according to culinary expert and travel author Richard Sterling, who says camel is a traditional dish served at Arabian weddings.

Camel is usually prepared by stuffing it with a sheep, which is stuffed with chicken, which is stuffed with fish, which is stuffed with eggs.

Sterling actually tried the dish in the Middle East and says it wasn't the exotic preparation that made the dish taste so great -- it was also revenge.

It seems the camel he dined on threw him off it's back while riding across the Egyptian desert.

Sterling is the author of the new book "The Fire Never Dies" (Travelers' Tales).
