Educational Lollipops And Other New Food Products

Chicago, IL (WFN) -- How many licks does it take to learn from a lollipop?

Not too many, thanks to a South African candy maker which has invented "Lick & Learn Traffic Lollies" -- lollipops that are decorated with road signs and quizzes about road safety.

The educational candy is just one of a slew of new food products according to the Global New Products database. Other new foods include...

-- An Italian iced coffee drink called "Freddo Freddo" -- meaning "Cold Cold" -- which comes in a self-icing can that cools in 40 seconds at the press of a button.

-- Ethnic M&M's known as "Dulce de Leche" -- a milk caramel flavor.

-- And there's also a new lemon-flavored beer called "Damn Lemon" which is being launched in Spain.
