'Big Brother' Rumor: Has Cbs Planted A Houseguest?

Los Angeles, CA -- Another brouhaha is brewing over the "Big Brother" TV show: Many fans believe at least one houseguest is a network "plant" whose job is to stir things up.

Arizona-based computer programmer John Allard says he suspects houseguest Mike Malin might be a plant because he admits to knowing some of the casting crew.

The theory is Mike agreed to shake things up in return for a three-month free ad for his Los Angeles nightclub, Belly.

Will and Shannon are also suspected of being phonies since they both have acting and modeling experience, as has Kent, who once worked as a news anchor for a CBS-TV affiliate.

However, Kent's wife, Kathy, says she doesn't think any of the houseguests are fakes and a CBS spokeswoman calls the theory "absolutely ridiculous."
