New York, NY -- If Puff Daddy really wants to improve his reputation, he shouldn't change his name as he recently announced on MTV.

That's the advice of Gatlinsburg, Tennessee-based numerologist Tammi Rager, who says the rapper's current moniker is much better from a numerological standpoint than the proposed new name, "P. Diddy."

She says the new name could make Puffy come across as cold and shallow, as well as keep him from making changes in his life.

By contrast, Rager says the name "Puff Daddy" gives the rapper the ability to dream up new ideas and make them happen.

If Puffy insists on becoming "P. Diddy," the numerologist recommends he at least add an "e" after the "p" -- which will soften his image a little.
