'Fat Albert' Film Could Be Big Break For Large Actor

San Francisco, CA (WFN) -- Will Bill Cosby's proposed big screen version of "Fat Albert" be a big break for some large actor? That's what a fat acceptance group hopes.

Frances White of the National Association To Advance Fat Acceptance is keeping her fingers crossed that the upcoming Fat Albert film will be more fat-friendly than Eddie Murphy's "Nutty Professor" movies.

White's withholding judgement on the film until she sees it but says Fat Albert is a great role model for fat people.

However, she thinks the film would be better if Cosby hires a large actor to play Fat Albert instead of sticking a skinny person in a fat suit.

She claims skinny actors tend to be ungainly in fat suits "...like they're walking in astronaut suits" while real-life fat people are more graceful.
