Hackettstown, NJ -- What was the most annoying phrase of 2000? Believe it or not, it wasn't "Whassup?"

According to a survey by Snickers Cruncher, Americans were most annoyed by phrases relating to the millennium, including "Y2K Bug."

Americans are also sick of any slang associated with the Florida recount such as "hanging Chad" or "I would like a recount."

"Whassup?" was the No. 3 most irritating phrase followed by "Who Let The Dogs Out?," "dot.com," and "Whatever."

Also on the list is Regis Philbin's mantra all this year: "Is that your final answer?"
