Chicago, IL -- There's a new syndrome on the horizon for candy-crazed kids: "Trick-or-Treat Rage."

According to Chicago-based nutrition counselor Linaya Hahn, "Trick-or-Treat Rage" occurs when children eat too much candy at Halloween.

She claims candy chewing stimulates production of a bodily yeast known as "candida," which releases toxins that can cause everything from toddler temper tantrums to kiddie crying fits.

In order to fight Trick-or-Treat Rage, Hahn recommends filling your child's tummy with protein before pounding the pavement and by handing out nutritional foods like fruits and nuts to the little goblins that ring your doorbell.
