Gary Coleman Puts Foot Down On Scooters

New York, NY (WFN) -- Gary Coleman is putting his foot down against those Razor scooters: He wants them banned from city streets.

Coleman says he hates the new fad because the streets and sidewalks are now filled with reckless scooter riders who never watch where they're going.

The former child actor is currently a columnist for the UnderGroundOnline website, which is organizing a petition to ban scooters in New York City.

Coleman says his biggest beef is with adult yuppies who ride the scooters whom he describes as 'losers.'

Although his TV show once taught that it takes "diff'rent strokes" to move the world, Coleman says freedom ends with scooters and he believes a free country needs some "intolerance."
