Ex-Village People Singer Taking It Off For Charity

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- A former member of the Village People is hitting the stage once again -- but this time he'll only be wearing underpants.

Mark Lee -- who was the "Construction Worker" in the group from 1982 to 1989 -- will strut his stuff in a charity "undergear" fashion show in Los Angeles on November 19.

Lee admits he's self-conscious about walking around in nothing but underwear, even though he claims he's in better shape than he was during his Village People heyday.

He says he's made just one request to organizers: Don't make him wear a thong. In Lee's words, "I'm 40 years old -- and the last thing I want to do is walk around in a thong."
