Orlando, FL (WFN) -- The Grinch who stole Christmas has temporarily stolen the name of Orlando, Florida.

In honor of Jim Carrey's upcoming live-action version of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas," Orlando is changing its name from "Orlando" to "Wholando" and the town's mayor, Glenda Hood, is temporarily changing her name to "Glenda-Lou Whood."

Both name changes will last from November 17, the day the movie opens nationally, until December 31.
