	2000-11-09 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Election Mess Holding Up Quickie President Bio

New York, NY (WFN) -- The election recount isn't just holding up Al Gore and George W. Bush -- it's also making life a living hell for a presidential biographer in New York. Writer Beatrice Gormley is working on an "instant biography" of the new president for Simon & Schuster books that was supposed to be published as an electronic book yesterday. But the vote recount in Florida has put those plans on hold since nobody knows who the new president will be. Gormley has already written the first chapters for two separate books on Gore and Bush -- but she can't write the final chapter until the election mess is settled. Simon & Schuster says once the final vote is tallied, it will release only the winning candidate's book.
