New Orleans, LA (WFN) -- A New Orleans entrepreneur is hoping fashion plates will hear out his proposal for the next hot jewelry trend: an "Ear Wing."

Ear Wings are decorative metal clips that fit over the top of the ear, making it look like you either have a conch shell stuck to your ear or just stepped out of a sci-fi flick.

Inventor Peter Horowitz says he created the shell-like ear clips as an alternative to the multiple ear piercings currently popular with trendoids.

Now Horowitz wants to convince a Hollywood celebrity to don one of his inventions hoping it will start a worldwide trend once folks hear about it.
