Farrah Fawcett's Hair Best For Crime Fighting

Studio City, CA (WFN) -- There's no splitting hairs about it, the original "Charlie's Angels" hairstyles are a cut above the new ones sported by Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore.

That's according to hairdresser Allen Edwards, the man who created Farrah Fawcett's famous 'do for the TV show.

He claims the feathered Fawcett cut is practical for a gumshoe because it stays out of the face even when busting bad guys -- but the new styles worn by Diaz, Barrymore and Liu seem to move around too much, obstructing the Angels' eyesight.

Although Farrah's hair is better for crime fighting, Edwards doesn't think female private eyes will adopt it anytime soon because, in his words: "You can never go back."
