Orlando, FL -- Wanna make a monkey out of yourself? How about buying an original "Planet of the Apes" costume?

Four monkey suits worn in the original sci-fi flick are going up for bid today at PlanetHollywood.com.

Opening bids start at $1250 for a green "Chimpanzee" costume, $815 for a purple "Gorilla" suit, $560 for an orange "Orangutan" costume and $435 for a child-sized chimp suit.

A spokesman says he can't confirm whether any of the suits were worn by stars like Roddy McDowell or Kim Hunter, but the suits were also used in the two sequels to the film.
