President's Job Ranks Low On 'Best Job List'

New York, NY (WFN) -- George W. Bush and Al Gore may want to reconsider their run for president. It seems the job ranks hideously low on a new list of the world's best jobs.

The position of President of the United States ranks in at 167 out of 250 in the "Jobs Rated Almanac 2001" (St. Martin's Press) -- lower than a forklift operator.

In addition to the low overall rating, the president must work more hours in a work week -- 65 -- than any other profession and has the poorest work environment -- even worse than a fire fighter.

Just in case you're wondering, the No. 1 ranked job is "financial planner" while the lowest ranked job is "fisherman."
