Common Uses of Selsun This medicine is a cytostatic agent used to treat dandruff and other conditions of the scalp or skin.
Possible Selsun Side Effects Side effects that may go away during treatment, include increase in mild hair loss or thinning, hair discoloration, or oiliness or dryness of hair and scalp. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor.Check with your doctor as soon as possible if you experience skin irritation or rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
General Cautions If your symptoms do not improve within 1 to 2 weeks or if they become worse, check with your doctor. Do not use this medicine more often than recommended by your doctor. Do not get this medicine in your eyes or on the inside of your nose or mouth. Do not use this medicine on broken or blistered skin. Do not apply this medicine to genital area.
