Common Uses of Lac Hydrin This medicine is an emollient used to treat dry, scaly skin and to relieve the itching that goes with this condition.
Possible Lac Hydrin Side Effects Side effects that may go away during treatment, include mild redness, stinging, or burning when the medicine is applied. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
General Cautions Do not get this medicine in your eyes or on the inside of your nose and mouth. This medicine may cause increased sensitivity to the sun. Avoid exposure to the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to this medicine. Use a sunscreen or protective clothing if you must be outside for a prolonged period.
