Common Uses of Cortisporin Otic This medicine is an antibiotic and steroid combination used to treat ear infections.
Possible Cortisporin Otic Side Effects No common side effects have been reported with the proper use of this medicine. Check with your doctor as soon as possible if you experience skin rash, itching, burning, redness, or swelling. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
General Cautions If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor. Do not use this medicine for more than 10 days unless directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine for future ear problems without checking with your doctor. Do not get this medicine in your eyes. If this medicine gets in your eyes, immediately flush them with cool tap water. For Women: if you plan on becoming pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. It is unknown if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
