Common Uses of Buspar This medicine is an antianxiety agent used to treat anxiety. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Possible Buspar Side Effects Side effects that may go away during treatment, include dizziness, lightheadedness, nervousness, excitement, headache, drowsiness, or nausea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Check with your doctor as soon as possible if you experience movements of the face or neck muscles you can not control. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
General Cautions Several days to weeks may pass before this medicine reaches its full effect. Continue taking this medicine during this time. This medicine may cause dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine. Before drinking alcohol or taking other medicines, check with your doctor or pharmacist. For Women: it is unknown if this drug is excreted in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking this medicine.
