Numbers For Your Future Calculator
This calculator estimates how much your savings will be at a specific point in the future. |
To use this calculator:
- In "Starting Deposit," enter how much savings you have now.
- In "Monthly Saving Amount," enter how much you can afford to save every month.
- In "Saving Period," enter the number of years over which you intend to save that monthly amount.
- In "Interest Rate," enter the interest rate at which your savings will grow throughout the Saving Period. Note: The rate you choose can range from a risk-free 3 percent for a passbook savings account to a more risky 9 percent for a money invested in the stock market. Try two or three rates and see what difference it makes.
- Do not use commas.
