The work of agricultural scientists is closely related to that of other scientists, including
biological scientists,
chemists and materials scientists, and
conservation scientists and foresters. It also is related to the work of managers of agricultural production, such as
farmers, ranchers, and agricultural managers. Certain specialties of agricultural science also are related to other occupations. For example, the work of animal scientists is related to that of
veterinarians, and horticulturists perform duties similar to those of
landscape architects.
